Bus Application Form
The bus application form below is to be used for the following routes: Driffield, East Hull, Howden, Hymers Hessle Mount, Pocklington, Scawby and Scunthorpe. Please make sure you complete all of the sections for each child.
Before submitting the form, make sure you read the Terms and Conditions below.
If you wish to pay via direct debit but don’t already have a direct debit mandate in place, you will also need to complete and return this form to buses@hymers.org.

Bus charges can be added to your termly bill and paid for in one of the following ways:
a. If you have a direct debit in place payments will be added to your extras and payable in three installments due 1 October, 1 February, 1 May.
b. A bank transfer to be made before the start on the new term.All pupils will need to use their ID card to board the bus.
In adverse weather conditions the route may be changed and a contingency plan implemented. This will be taken on the advice of the relevant bus company.
A full terms notice must be given in writing (for the attention of the Bursar), in order to cancel a place on the bus. If this is not received, the next term will be invoiced and must be paid on time.
The Parents/Guardians shall ensure a standard of behaviour from pupils on the bus commensurate with the standards expected at Hymers. Pupils shall not destroy, damage or mutilate property during the journey. Pupils are not permitted to distract or attempt to speak to the driver whilst he/she is driving. Pupils will not leave rubbish, food or chewing gum on the bus at any time.
Where seatbelts are provided, it is the pupils responsibility to ensure they are worn at all times.
Parents/Guardians will reimburse on demand any sums which are payable towards repair or damage of the bus.
If a pupil no longer needs to use the bus, the rest of the terms fee is still due and payable.
Hymers College reserves the right to cancel the bus provision by giving reasonable notice.
Hymers College reserves the right to vary the pickup times, places and prices by giving to the Parents/Guardians, with reasonable notice.
Hymers College reserve the right to grant places on a specific bus only if a seat is available. Where a bus is at full capacity, the school does not guarantee that an additional bus will be provided.
