Gardening at Beverley Train Station - NCS Life Skills

Our NCS - National Citizen Service Officer, Miss Powell, has been back on it with our Life Skills group, helping our students develop their skills and confidence ready for adult life!

This month they took part in a community service activity, partnering with Beverley in Bloom at Beverley Train Station. The students contributed their time and energy to beautify the station's surroundings, learning plenty of gardening skills along the way!

Thanks go to Northern Rail and Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership for organising the day and helping our students find joy and fulfilment in volunteering. We were incredibly proud to see them fully embracing the opportunity to make a positive impact in their community.

A huge well done to Rafael, Megan and Pranav in Year 11, as well as Marceline in Year 12. There were green thumbs all round by the end of the day!
