Shakespearean performance
Congratulations to Gabriella and Annabelle who attended the ESU Regional Final hosted at The Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield last week.
Only one piece could go through to the Final. Unfortunately, it wasn't our year, but the girls have made some good friends and really enjoyed the workshop run by a processional Shakespeare actor!
“The girls performed their Duologue, Act 2, Scene 2 of Macbeth. Belle played Lady Macbeth and Gabby plays Macbeth. They created the tension and fraught relationship between the couple in this scene amazingly and performed a captivating performing. We are really proud of their efforts and conduct yesterday. They represented Hymers like the troupers they both are. Well done girls!”
