Hymers College invites the parents of the students who attended our Science Triathlon 2025 to accompany their children and recognise their achievements during our Celebration Ceremony 2025.
Book your place below to come and enjoy an evening at Hymers College hearing all about your child’s experiences at our Science Triathlon. Our Science Heads of Departments will explain the challenges your child faced on the day while you view photos from the day and enjoy refreshments.
All students will be invited on stage to receive a graded Certificate of Scientific Achievement.
We will also be announcing the winners of 12 awards on the evening, with Amazon vouchers for the winning students!
On the evening:
The Celebration Ceremony will begin at 7pm, please arrive shortly before this to give you time to take your seat.
There will be round tables set up in the Main Hall, one for each team. Due to seating restrictions at the tables, please could we ask that only school team members and one parent per student sit at the round tables. Please could all other accompanying family members sit in the additional seating at the back of the hall.
If all members of your school team are unable to make it on the evening, then by all means, additional family members are welcome to fill up the empty spaces at the table.
Students are not required to wear their school uniform for this event.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a photographer present at the event. We arranged for photo consent forms to be filled out for the students via their schools before the Science Triathlon, and the choices you made for your child will be respected during the event. The photographer will however take some wide angle shots of the event during the evening. If you feel uncomfortable about this, then please don't hesitate to speak to him about it, and he will ensure you are not in any of the shots.
All photos from the Celebration Ceremony and the Science Triathlon will be posted to our Facebook page following the event. Please follow us so you don't miss them!
Booking:
You are welcome to bring additional parents/carers and children with you on the evening, but please only book one ticket per family using the lead parent/guardian's name and email address.
