Hymers Music Department would like to invite you to apply for instrumental lessons for your child at Hymers Hessle Mount.

Year 2 children are invited to apply for lessons on the violin or the viola. Additionally some shared lessons on these instruments may be available for pupils in Year 1.

We do have some instruments we can offer for hire but, it should be pointed out that, we only cater for ¼ size violins upwards. If your child is small, it may be necessary to purchase an instrument at a small cost. It is possible to discuss this with the teacher Mrs England (rengland@hymers.org) who can help you source a suitable instrument

We also have a very limited number of spaces for piano lessons. Please note, in order to undertake piano lessons the pupil must have access to either a traditional piano, a digital piano or a keyboard with weighted keys to practice on at home. This will be checked at the point you are offered lessons. We do not offer shared lessons for piano.
