Community Service Day

For Community Service Day, our Year 12 students spent their time working with Dove House Hospice, one of our Charities of the Year, on their Forget Me Not Appeal.

Our students unboxed, cleaned and constructed around 750 metal flowers for the appeal. These flowers will be engraved in the memory of loved ones, in return for a donation to Dove House Hospice, and then placed on display at Burton Constable Hall for visitors and supporters to enjoy.

At the end of the day, the students handed over a cheque for £1774, which is the total raised by Hymers students for Dove House Hospice this year!
