Gold DofE expedition 2024 to the Lake District

A rain-soaked team of Year 13 students completed their Gold DofE assessed expedition in the Lake District at the beginning of July.

Mr Young and Mr Berry accompanied Alice, Ava, Zehra, Matthew W, Matthew C, Chris and Adam (all Year 13) on their four day and three night expedition, where they have to be self sufficient for the full duration.

They started the route at the YHA at Langdale, then on to Grasmere, the Borrowdale valley and then onto Wasdale, before heading back into the Langdale valley for two nights and finishing in Ambleside.
