Ferens Young Artist Awards

A huge congratulations to three of our Junior School pupils Joseph (Year 4), Seraphina (Year 6) and Yashvi (Year 3) who have been awarded prizes in the Ferens Art Gallery's Young Artist Open Exhibition 2023.

Joseph has been selected to receive the 1st prize in the 7-11 years age category, by the Hull and East Riding Branch of the Arts Society, for his artwork, Nest.

Seraphina has been selected to receive the 3rd prize in the 7-11 years age category, by the Hull and East Riding Branch of the Arts Society, for her artwork, Self-portrait.

Yashvi has been selected to receive the 1st prize in the 7-11 years age category, from the Friends of Ferens Art Gallery, for her artwork, The Exhibition.

There was a presentation at Ferens Art Gallery at the start of July and the exhibition opens on 21 July and runs until 1 October.

There were 420 submissions for the age 7-11 category, so we are thrilled that three of our pupils were awarded prizes!
